The Bird Room

Here are some photos of the Bird Rooms and other areas at the Rescue Center.  The first two pictures are from the small birds room and the next two are of the large birds room.

Here are some pictures of the bird room and associated areas in my home, prior to the establishment of the rescue center.  All birds are provided plenty of time out of their cages to play.  Additionally, all the birds are worked with to correct any behavior issues they may have.  Since the opening of the rescue facility in January 2007, I use these areas to provide additional care to those birds in need of special training or medical care.

In these pictures you can see the private cages for the birds, all fitted with assorted perches and feeding dishes.  You can also see some of the stands and toys outside the cages where the birds are free to play.  Here they receive one-on-one training as well as time to interact with one another, if they choose to do so.  The birds are always supervised when out of their cages.
